someone just help me figures this guy out…singles and dating section isn’t helping?
In January I started seeing this guy. I’m 19 and he’s 24. We would see each other all the time. We kissed, hugged, and spent at least 2 days out the week with each other. Well after 3 weeks sex came into play. I know this is quite typical for adults
Well he tried to pursue sex with me but I told him no. I just was unsure towards what direction we were going. Well after that things were still okay but it’s like we slowly drifted apart and eventually 4 months went by and we never heard from each other
We ran into each other at the store 3 weeks ago. He blamed me for being the reason that we stopped talking (I just don’t get it) the next day he picked me up and we kissed and talked for the whole night and then he dropped me off home. When he dropped me off he gave me a kiss on the lips and a hug. I had to go out of town for a week but I told him when I got back I wanted to see him.
When I got back in town I texted him to let him know 2 weeks ago on Monday. He said ok and asked me when I got back. Well I was kind of busy so I didn’t contact him for the whole week.
Well I texted him last week on Tuesday “ what up?” and I haven’t heard from him. He has never ignored my text before.
Is he doing this because he’s mad at me or just not interested?? I haven’t heard from him in 2 weeks

well, well, well, Mz Thang–please don’t snap, because i am going to try to help you. Let us start with your prospective ages. You are 19–Legal…yes–grown…no! You just got our of high school. Not to say that a relationship wont work, but you (as by your own admission) don’t know the rules. You friend is 24. And at 24 most men know what they like, and know how they want to be treated. Now I commend you (think its cool as hell) for not bending to pressure to have sex before you are ready. That being "said" you should have defined your relationship. Don’t get me wrong folks in their 30’s 40’s and 50’s frequently fail to take that very important step.
When you ran into your friend and he told you that things were your fault, he was tryin’ to "mac" you. If he played it cool and made you think that it was your fault that y’all didn’t click, then you might be more willing to do what it takes to keep his attention. Apparently you did not have sex with him–if I am wrong then disregard everything I said.
After you got back in town, and took your time contacting him he decided to move on to an easier objective. You are probally very cute–because he put time into trying to hook up with you a second time after the initial rejection–but don’t think that cute rules the world. Don’t worry about him it’s obvious that you think it’s cool to have the attention, but I don’t think that you are really feelin’ him. I may be wrong, but young ladies your age are not usually so resereved (low key…chilled out..calm..incontrol ) when it comes to being around guys they really like.

I think you should pick up the phone and call him… find out for yourself. He’s 24 … should be out of the playing games phase and more then likely respects you more for telling him no sex. He probably feels like you’re playing games with this texting then not contacting for a week… If you don’t call him you will probably lose your chance with him.
