First of all, please use the spell check! Second of all, benefits should be the furthest thing from your mind when considering marriage. Third, you can rent a uniform at a costume shop.
You don’t marry a man just because he is in the military. You will be divorced within a year. You marry a man because you love him, and you want to spend your life with him!! Military life is HARD WORK, even when you have a great relationship with your man. Judging from your question, you have a lot of growing up to do before you think about marriage period, much less marrying into the military!!

Do you live near a base? Google military dating sites. I would advise you to get to know the person instead of the uniform. Take it from a Marines wife,military men are no different than other guys except for what they do for a living. I know a lot of girls that have been with my husbands friends just because they are Marines and were disappointed when they found out they are regular guys and have faults like everyone else.
You really should take the time and preview your quest…well dream. If you want to sound like you have any intelligence then act like it. No one is going to want a dumb sounding person. I am married to a Marine, his pay is ok but I married the man not the Marine.

please don’t marry a soldier for the title. i have seen too many men hurt by women that just want a soldier. women like you are the reason us true army wives are becoming a rare find.
besides that, if you are discounting marrying a civilian you could be missing out on the person that could make your life very happy. don’t be close minded, there are many good men out there both in and out of uniform.

But anyway, you are not looking for love you’re looking for a fantasy relationship. When I was younger my dream was to travel and stay single , but I feel in love, we’ve been together 11 years and have 5 kids. You get my point.
I come to this section looking for advice for my brother. he fell in love with with a girl like you and it made his depression worse. She found out the uniform alone just wasnt satisfying enough. Love someone for the right reasons and the relationship will last, thats my unwanted advice.

I did look "Muter" up and it does not apply in your argument. It has absolutely no application what so ever in your speech because you are using it in the incorrect manner/association. I suggest you learn how to spell. If you want to be a Psychologist, after you earn your Bachelors, you will have to take the MCAT or possibly GMAT/GRE (depending on your Masters game plan) and you will not pass with your current reasoning or grammar skills. I took the GRE to get into Graduate school and vocabulary/verbal is a big part of the test. I suggest you study and practice your communication skills NOW. They need some work. As an instructor and current Graduate student, I was laughing my butt off with your insistence that you were using correct vernacular.
I think you are probably rather young and apparently immature. You need to marry a man for qualities that do not just pertain to him being an AD service member. You are more preoccupied with the idea of marriage than the idea of finding a PARTNER for life. When girls are preoccupied with marriage and the fun that goes along with a wedding, they set their selves up for failure. You need to concentrate on school, getting an education (which you desperately need) and do not seek out a partner. The right one will eventually come along, however if you seek him you will probably find the wrong one. I think you want the uniform, you don’t want the husband.
I suggest you grow up first. Marriage is a hard, tough thing at times, especially in the military. There is a reason why those who are young, immature, and marry for the wrong reasons divorce so quickly. You are setting yourself up for failure.
I know you think I am mean, but you have some very unrealistic expectations that are setting yourself up for failure and you have the reasoning of a 14 year old. You have to grow up prior to marriage.

Im sure you will find one you are pretty. I husband is in the air force. i will be seeing home in 6 days in his uniform for the first time cant wait he’s going to look so hot. If and when u r 21 i would go to some bars near the base and im sure some hot army guy will hit on you. Just make sure you don’t see a ring.
