im askin this because im reading them right now…im on new moon at the moment =0 (edward helps me with a lot of dating tips and romance with girls =P). so anyways what do girls think about guys who read these books? also my friends are the opposite of edward and think the twilight series is gay sh*t =/. should i stop it because of em? oh yeah im 16 so how should i handle this with my dude friends?

I think it’s awesome that a guy reads those books..The whole theme between Bella and Edward is about him respecting and protecting her. Unfortunately those values are getting kicked to the curb in modern society and that’s too bad..lowering the bar for anything always turns out to be a bad idea.
Haha, well it depends on the guy. I know a few of the "popular" guys at my school read them and I think that it’s cute because all of us girls wish we had an Edward. However, on the other hand, I also know one guy that reads it, and I picture it WAY to girly/gay. So it depends on the type of person you are. The main thing that determines whether or not it’s gay is the way you feel about it. If you are confident about it then it doesn’t matter much what other people think. If you are shy about it, it won’t send off as good as a message. Good Luck. Whatever girlfriends you end up having will be very lucky.
