Did you have a bad experience?

October 16th, 2009 by admin | Posted in Single Dating Services

I just got my invites and they got the date wrong!!!
I emailed her to tell her what had happened and that she should not work with brides anymore. I sent her my honest Yelp one star review hoping she would improve her service in the future and she not only threatened to sue me, but then she wrote fake reviews that bashed me? WTF???
So I want the world to know what a risk it is to order their wedding invites online. A computer can do a better job. Please read my yelp and please share your OOP’s to us so that we can learn from your mistakes.

I wrote in my review I was the dummy and she still attacked me. I had no time to send them back. I cut paper all night and covered the wrong date. I just want to make sure no one else makes the same mistake.
I will shorten the review. I have been back and forth all day trying to combat the fake reviews on Groff’s. I flagged the reviews and told Yelp that they have no contact information and that they are fake. So in about a week, when they cut those fake reviews, I will cut it way back and stick to the facts. I am so mad that they are attacking me over an honest review I want the world to know about my mistakes.

not really an oops but a bad experience i went to a florist last weekend and i’m not traditional at all with my wedding, i told her exactly what i wanted and she was fine with my bouquet its my bridesmaids bouquets she refused to do for me, i told her i wanted red roses with stephanotis and she refused saying that stephanotis is just for brides, sorry if its my fav. flower but thats what i wanted well she started saying she could do the flowers this one way after i told her no blue in there flowers and she still managed to get it in there cause i gave up and started saying whatever and then she wanted to charge me 695 for all my flowers, i only got bouquets boutineres and corsages thats it, i was ready to hit the lady cause she was ruining my ideas and bashing my ideas and honestly if my mom hadnt been there i would have easily turned into bridezilla, thank goodness i’m going to another florist in a couple days so hopefully i wont have the same problem.

Did you give her the chance to correct the error?
If you just slammed her without giving her time to repair the situation, then you are in the wrong.
She is also wrong for retaliating; that is very unprofessional.

**And your review is absolutely unreadable. It makes no sense. Try to shorten it and just stick to the facts. No one is going to read that and try to figure out what the h you are talking about.

that sucks, but you handled that horribly. people make mistakes, that’s life. you don’t need to drive away all of her business because of it… especially now that it’s happened once, she’ll probably be super careful in the future.

you should have emailed her when you noticed the mistake, politely told her that she got the date wrong, and she would most likely have fixed it, or if there was no time, at least apologized and made it up to you in some way. I don’t know why you chose to freak out instead… obviously NOW she isn’t going to go out of her way to accomodate/compensate you in any way at all.

After reading your review, you not only admit that you signed the proof without checking it, but also that you changed the date AFTER the proof was signed.

I’m sorry, but that it is your fault. It is your responsability to make corrections BEFORE approving a proof for printing. That’s how the printing bussiness works and the signature on the proof is your consent to print.

I know that you would not like my answer, but it is the truth.

    YOU wrote:

"Yes I’m a fricken idiot, Yes I signed off on the proof .
Yes I am guilty of not being meticulous to detail."

I guess you can only blame yourself. It doesn’t matter if you emailed her later with changes. You signed the proof and then make changes?? That’s not how the world spins sunshine.

    Good luck

Blunt is absolutely right. I usually don’t agree with her, but this time I do completely. I work in the printing industry and if you signed off on the proof, it’s your fault. If you had told them politely after you noticed the problem, they would have fixed it. That is what we do in printing. We do make mistakes, and that is what the proof is for! You are not the only project they were working on, and I gaurantee that they didn’t do it on purpose just to spite you!
