please help me with this problem about having a boyfriend, ive been thinking about it for a while now.?
hi, im 14 and a typical teenager. i havent started my periods, just started fitting in bras and still growing into myself. and latley ive been thinking about having a boyfriend for a long time.
but im not really like normal girls with guys, many of my friends jsut go out with a guy for a couple of weeks and then move on and like to have a variety of guys and dont really take it seriously.
but with me, i really want to have a relationship thats really long and meaningful, i’d love to be with a guy whos like my best friend and cares about me and we can chat and have a laugh and we can talk seriously withouth breaking up like most immature realtionships end up.
i really like guys who are fit and really sensitive. i have doofuses and air heads who go around swearing and that. i really like clever sophisticated really funny guys. and of course , has nice hair 
anyways, theres a school disco coming up in 2 weeks, and my school is an all girls school, however the disco has invited an all boy school to come.
and i really want to meet a couple of guys, get some phone numbers , and jsut slowly start building something, very slowly seeing as im only 14. and well, its my first time with anythuing like this . ive never kissed, never pulled, never danced with a guy. and i really would love to experience it.
can you give me tips on how to like meet on and start a convo. i know the classic ‘ oh be yourself’ and all this flirting moves and stuff i read in magazines, but i wanna know the realsitic side of it. i really wanna make it go well,and have a great night and feel happy and excited about it.

im only 13 but i have alot of experience with guys and kissing and flirting so heres my advice….the first step is catching his eye you have to let him no your worth going after, if you see him looking at you that usally means you got him under your spell keep doin what your doing for awhile then walk away and stay away for about 5 to 10 minutes. After that go up to him and be like Hey wats up he will probley say something normal back then you start the asking about him be like do you play any sports he will answer bak then more than likely ask the same question back if you dont play sports aswer something back like that kind of stuff iant my thing aftter that continue the conversation for a little longer then be like hey i got to go see what my friends are up to so ill catch you l8r. more than likely if you turned on the charm he will come back to find you but if he doesnt 4get about him and move on

I agree with you on your relationship standards! And i ahve not been able to find a long lasting relationship yet and im 17, ive been with many failures.
It is very hard to find a relationship they way we want it, because guys your age and still, even guys my age are very immature still. It takes guys a longer time to mature than girls.
If possible go for an older guy, meaning about 16-17…this is not wrong ..being with an older person is perfectly normal.
Just be yourself at the disco and have fun. Being yourself is the best way to find a guy who will like you for YOU and not for being someone else that you arent.

Just go to meet a few nice friends, because the best relationships come from friendship.
If you see someone you like the look of that’s hanging around in a group, accidentally trip over or something near him and say something like ‘oh bugger, I’m so clumsy’ look at him and laugh.
Usually, they’ll laugh with you. But you have to say something else pretty soon after that or they’ll just turn back to their friends…
Don’t go for anyone that looks too old, they’ll just think you’re a kid.
At 14 you don’t really need anything too serious and I doubt you’ll find a sweet, sensitive, intelligent guy your age who doesn’t want to play around and get as many girls as possible – it’s not because you don’t deserve it, it’s just how guys are at that age.
Just build up some good friendships and if one seems a possibility and he likes you I’m sure you’ll notice. Just look for the obvious signs in your magazines, you’ll be fine.
