ok so im 13 and theres a guy at my school that i like. alot . but hes hot (hah) but i wouldnt consider myself "ugly"

but the girls at my school are 200000 times prettier than me. i wanna like start hugging him lik my other friends do.
but i HATE HUGS! i dont even like my friends hugging me! and im pretty shy to talk to guys because i feel intimidated by the other girls. soo how can i approach him.?
