So I met this guy on one of those online dating things….?
Ok so I "met" this guy on one of those online dating things… Is the first time I’ve done this… He is really cute and is kinda like the kind of guys I would definitively want to date. He is very centered, and I really like his personality… etc… We’ve never met in person, but I’m really eager to meet him and he wants to meet me too… I’m just not sure what to do… Like I know what to do when you meet guys like the "regular" way, but I honestly just dont know what to do, where to go… Any tips on how to do this successfuly??

If you must – then meet him like at a mall foodcourt. Have a friend with you. Just talk for a set amount of time. Do not leave when he does and whatever he says or does do not go anywhere else with him. Take a camera and snap a pic – "for your memories". If he is hesitent to allow the pic – get up and leave and make sure he isn’t following you. Send the image to yourself and friends – send one to him too – saying that you have sent it to your friends.
All ok – and you are still interested then you might meet him again. By the way – you must have his home phone number and have called him there before any of this happens.
Paranoid? Well – you have to be today.
VERY public place, just in case
I met my husband this way. Don’t worry. Just make sure your first date is in a public place and that you meet him there so you can leave if he turns out to be a jerk.
Meet him ONLY in a public placel like a coffee shop.
ok..set an eyeball or date with that guy..but be sure that you’ll meet in a safe place (its better to be careful)..then, during the date, try to act naturally. so that he will show you right away his true colors..avoid dull moments during the date..keep the atmosphere lighting. then after the date, that would be the right time to decide.
ok if i were you.since you say youve never met him…meet him somewhere where theres alot of people.be there early so that you get there before him.dont let him see you.that way you can check him out first.so if he’s ugly then you can diss him and he wont know its you.
Yep public place, and maybe double date or triple it up.
I agree with everyone else. Meet in a VERY VERY public place. You never know.
Well about 10 years ago, you should be worried because nobody had computers, and tech, wasnt what it is today, there are actually NORMAL ppl on these datelines and stuff… But you need to worry too, b/c they prolly have ppl like me there
Dangerous RawR
I met my boyfriend of 12 months this way, as previous answerers have suggested, meet somewhere public. I’d suggest just a coffee or a drink after work. Just keep this first date short, if its a great success, there can always be a second date if things go well, even a third and so on. They’re not all axe-murderers out there, give it a shot
