Is it possible for a man to be succesful in his career but unsucsssful in terms of attracting women?

August 28th, 2009 by admin | Posted in Flirting Tips

I have a friend who is relatively succesful career wise, but has not gotten laid in like 5 years. On the other hand, I have a cousin who is a total bum—works a dead end job, and I think he lives at home at 35 years old, yet he always seems to have a pretty girlfriend. My question is, how common, is it for a man to be sucessful in his career but unscusseful with women or vice versa?

The guy with the successful career may be more timid about dating girls. His career probably comes first and the reason why its so successful. Not sure about the bum. I wouldn’t date someone who was a total bum like that. It’s not attractive.

I’m very successful in my career, yet women hate me. Most of the men in my career are not so unsuccessful though. I think it’s just that I’m naturally more confident in the workplace.

some are bought up to get what they want through struggle and there are the other few who learn the way to please his way through

    Very much so.

If you have a booming career, you work on staying ahead.
This will make you less likely to spend time chasing a woman.

Although, still with mom and dad at 35 – what kind of attraction would you get from women??

This is a common sense question. Hate to put it out there – you cannot generalize somebody who lives at home, and has a "hot girlfriend" and assume that just because you’re successful means you won’t be able to initiate or maintain a healthy relationship.

If you have anymore questions, I started GuysCryToo.com – Relationship Advice for Dudes, and girls. There are a lot of others in similar predicaments as yourself and I feel you could get some good advice there as well. I typically don’t give advice, but I like providing my own opinion at times.

    Good luck!
