18 year old women/girls are asking me, are they really?
I, as those that have been following this thread know, am a 54 year old man. I am also a retired scientist and ’system stomped on you’ divoced father who lost his seventeen yr old son in a car accidet last November 23rd. Anyway, I am puling myself together and even joined 2 online dating services. I posted my photos including recent ones right off the webcam and it is live search and chat usibg webcams. i also posted a profile Given all this the people know what and who one is after reviewing the subjects home page. I have made winks to others and I have received winks from prospective persons. The thing I have trouble accepting is that the vast majority of the responses to my profile and photos have been by 18 year old women. That’s 17 out of the last 19. Can these ladies be serious?

NO, they are probably looking for entertainment and probably want to try and get some money out of you.
Try meeting people in person, you can usually know if someone is sincere that way.
It’s hard to tell from just hearing a suggestion like that. I would need to see what they exactly said. I myself have had ideas that perhaps an older man may better satisfy me and have the experience and wisdom to back up the dominance I seek to trust and submit to. That may be the same idea going through these young girls minds, however on a lesser plane.
I understand how you may feel about a woman that young. It could be aggravating to put up with. She may think she’s doing YOU a favor, and treat you like that…and you don’t want to be degraded in such a way. Don’t blame you one bit. It’s respect you seek, not pity…but if you can forgive yourself in the morning…let them have a taste of what you got!
