I set my friend up for a "blind date" last night, and she, horrified by the prospect of my choice for her, showed up Temporarily Incognito!
However, her defenses (and disguises) started to fall as soon as their eyes met across the crowded room…first her hat came off, then her Benny Hill-like wig (lol) then her Groucho glasses, then the trench-coat, then her thigh-high galoshes…and he, mesmerized, followed her lead, ‘Simon Says’ style, till our motley little crue all finally got kicked out of the bar.
You see…she once shared her ex with me, so I do felt indebted to return the favour…

Yeah, I did it once and never again. I lost 2 friends by trying to be a matchmaker.
I usually try to stay away from doing that, but I have done it in the past. I’ve set up three couples in my life, and all three are still married today.
Hehehe…Matchmaker matchmaker make me a match. Find me a find. Catch me a catch………Yes I have and they are married with (almost) 3 kids. I really don’t set up blind dates I merely suggest who should date. If it happens, then great. If not I will suggest others.

I’m the best matchmaker ever to have lived. Who do you think set up Barbie and Ken? Mickey and Minnie? Homer and Marge? Fred and Wilma? Okay- and i definitely set up the Lady and the Tramp. I mean, i sensed a connection right off the bat. Who says opposites don’t attract?
But real life people are a little more tricky. I really don’t think the whole Kurt and Courtney thing was such a big deal. They blew it waaayy out of proportion. I mean, apart from the drugs, infidelity and the mystery concerning his death (did she or didn’t she?), i think it was quite a success- don’t you?

I’ve been pimping Macho out pretty hard to the chunky Bulldog Lola from the building next door. Last week he had a bath and came home frisky, so we set up a ‘play date’ and left them to their devices (his still intact). Macho had his way with Lola from behind, as puppies are prone to do.
Today I learned through the rumour mill that Lola dislocated her hip on Saturday doing it with a French Bulldog named Thor.
Little two-timing B*tch deserves it.
They kissed under the large hat when I wasn’t looking.
