How do I remove my name from being displayed when I send a yahoo email?
I’ve started on-line dating on Craig’s List, which requires users to communicate from their own email accounts. I want to protect my anonymity until I know I feel comfortable with a given correspondent. Since this is an annoying feature of CL, I would normally just use another on-line dating site, but I’ve already tried most of them and CL is by far the best. Is it possible to adjust my settings so no one sees my name when I send an email?

- Do you feel that the "Marriage & Divorce" section has become the "Singles & Dating" section for "adults"? When you’re in Yahoo Mail, there’s a link near the top-right corner labeled ‘Options’. Click on that. Under the Management section, click on ‘Mail Addresses’. Here’s a list of email addresses you have associated with your account. Click the ‘Edit’ button on whatever email you’re using. The first field is the ‘From name’. Edit that to whatever you want people to see when you email. them.
if you use the free email account like me
you click "options"
click "general preferences"
Name: type in what you want
Reply to: type in email you want them to reply to
click "save"
maybe we shouldn’t have answered that.
