OK Yahoo, I’m looking for some enlightening info here…might be long. Please read all of it.

I have been friends with this girl for a while now, pretty good friends. She starts liking me about 2 months ago, and I start liking her, so we starting dating in mid february. She broke up with me two weeks later saying she didn’t think of me as any more than a friend.

Now I’m placed in a difficult spot…beyond being kind of hurt at such a small chance that she gave me, she still wants to be friends but its a little bit harder for me. I don’t want my feelings to get in the way of us being friends again, but at the same time it hurts me a little to see her and not be her boyfriend. I know we only dated two weeks, but it was like taking a step in a direction with her I really wanted to go but I felt she didn’t give me a real chance to do so. And I still have some jealousy for her, which I know is my problem, but I would feel pretty bad if she got with somebody else anytime soon, but her business is her own I suppose.

I’ve been on this path before, and I could, not avoid, but not take any initiative to be her friend anymore and not bother to talk to her and eventually she would be out of my life. This has happened to me before. Or I could push past my feelings of liking her and just try to be her friend. I don’t know how difficult the second option will be, because when I see her I am still attracted to her.

I guess I could take a break from seeing her, but I don’t really want to do that. I want to hang out with her, but I guess I’ll have to accept the fact that she doesn’t see me any more than as a friend?

That question is over, and feel free to answer the initial one, why is it so simple for a girl to decide she doesn’t like a guy? She just wakes up one day and says I have no attraction to you anymore?
