What Happened?

OK… Last saturday I met this gal in person whom I first met via internet dating service (match.com, eHarmony, …). In my opinion we clicked really well; spent +- 4 hours talking to each other over dinner and dessert. We exchanged biz. card at the end of this first date.
I called her and left a message on Monday (2 days after), e-mailed her the next day, and finally text message her yesterday (cuz I know she will be outta town over the Memorial day weekend). She never returned any of my contacts up to this moment.
Question 1: Should I call her work and just check if everything is fine with her (alive and well) before I move on?
Question 2: Can anybody explain what happened here? Thx! : )

If you’ve emailed her, called her, and text messaged her, and she hasn’t returned any of your attempts, then don’t try again. It could be that she is just a nice person who didn’t want to hurt your feelings while on the date – and didn’t know how to tell you that she doesn’t want to continue things.
However, it could be that she’s just busy and hasn’t had the time to return your phone calls or emails… so give her time and if you do hear from her then CONGRATS.
Trying to reach her again would only make you look desperate and a bit obsessive

what ever you do don’t call her work! that is a big no no. in a work place you are really not suppose to recieve personal phone calls. and that would be kind of "stalker" like on your part if you did that. maybe she just wasn’t interested in anything more than friends. she could have also been a bit shy about not telling you what she thought. as well maybe you were too forward in what you said to her or maybe she didn’t feel like you clicked in any kind of romantical way. even if it is just friends that is fine. i would probably just maybe call her and if she doesn’t answer leave a voicemail saying that you know i had a good time and would like to hang out with you again if you are up for it. if not it was great to have met you and i enjoyed my time with you.
and then that is it! at least you will be courteous about it and say the last word and if she responds back great, if not well that is life.
Worse thing in the world is to assume
When you assume … the mind can make up many crazy thought
For example my brother in law was bothered that he had sent a number of messages and no reply… He had already figured out that she had gone back to the old boyfriend and really worked himself up (for no reason)
Her computer was down and was unable to reply
I would go with number 1. Just ask if things are OK and hope that she can catch up soon (don’t go down the alive and well path
After her spending 4 hours with you, she has not called you or text you message or e mailed you, means that she is not interested in you. Of course, there is likelihood that she may not be well. It is for you to judge after you find out the reason for her not responding.

Man, you never know WHAT girls are thinking.
Don’t contact her for the rest of the week. Then on like Saturday, while she’s thinking about how she’s (ideally) not going out on a date that weekend, shoot her one last call making no reference to meeting up and no direct reference to ‘having had a good time last weekend’ or anything and just say something to make her laugh/smile. I would probably ‘be out of service for awhile’ because I’m ‘just getting on a plane’ but that it would be cool if she wanted to give me a call ‘tomorrow or something’.
