i am very lonely lately. i have only had one bf and it wasnt great, but i have been kinda down on myself for not having experience. i mean, im pretty, im outgoing, im skinny, and im a fun person to hang out with. i need some help on finding a prom date. i am not desperate to get a date with some random guy, but how could i get a guys attention? i have talked to guys in the mall and at amusement parks, but kinda upset that i was too shy to give my number or email address to. i need to have a guy prom date, my bff said that we were most likely going to be dates since i wouldnt have a bf to bring with me and hers lives 3 hours away. i just need help to get a guys attention and keep it. any tips?

Well there’s nothing wrong with goin with just the girls. . . but if you insist on having a date, ask someone who you might like to show up with! Ask and ye shall recieve! Even if you get rejected once or twice, those rejections will actually help to build your confidence in the future. Because you will no longer be afraid of rejection, due to the fact that you already know that life goes on and you will too.

Sometimes being a little too outgoing and a little shy can be the worst combination for a guy to see in a girl. From experience I say just talk to a guy at somewhere a little less crowded/ noisy, because if your at a mall or amusement park it can be hard to get a guys attention for too long. Don’t be afraid to give a guy your email address, and if you really don’t want to just make a mock email account and give that one to the guys you talk with. If a girl comes on too strong I guy may not fancy that, so just be a little more dormant when you first meet someone. Hope I could be of some help.
Just so you know men can tell when you feel superior to them. When you are TOO self confident they tend to take that as a stand off to them and they don’t want anything to do with you. I am not young, I am not skinny but I am cute for a 37 year old woman and I still have men tell me that I have a stand off attitude and it makes them nervous. just put off that witch with a B they tell me.
