On line dating sites, The first meeting?!?

February 28th, 2010 by admin | Posted in Adult Dating Sites

Im on an online dating site, and met this guy who i started talking to. We exchanged numbers and texted each other. Leading to our first meeting. I went to his house, i must say i was skeptical about going to his place the first time meeting him, after all he was still a stranger. So we met and we chat, and end up making out, no sex just hard core making out. Im not the type of person who goes to strangers houses, i feel like if ive made him see me as something else. I really liked him, but now I havent heard from him since then. Should i email him and say that i would like to get to know him a lot more, and that im not one to, i guess you could say spontaneous when it comes to things like that. What should i say to him, i dont want to sound dessperat either. But i just feel bad for making that first impression. What to do??

Yeah, send the email, make it light and friendly and fairly short. If you can suggest that your behaviour was out of character and it was just because you got on so well, it might work. I’m rather afraid you’ve blown it though because he’s probably thinking you do that with every random guy you meet.

If it doesn’t work out, at least you will have learnt some important lessons from this. Never!, ever!, go to a guy’s house for the first meeting (or let him come to yours, or even know where you live). First meeting should always be in a public place, you make your own way there and back, and you don’t let him see your car. Give him your cell/mobile phone number only – landlines can be traced.

You were lucky that nothing bad happened to you, taking risks like that. Until you meet someone in person you don’t really know what kind of person you have been talking to. It’s best to go on a few dates before you get intimate or give out any personal info – a guy might seem nice initially but then turn out to be a stalker.

These are just sensible precautions and in most cases will turn out to be unnecessary, but It is best to err on the side of caution – your personal safety is paramount.
