Guy I've been dating is still active on on-line dating service. Does this mean he isn't really interested?
We have been dating for a few months now and just recently, a friend of mine mentioned that he was back on the website and active. We see each other about 3 times a week, and have a wonderful time together. I am just concerned that I might be wasting my time and he isn’t really that interested. I am getting very close to this man and am afraid that if I continue I’ll just get hurt. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I’d say he’s still keeping his options open…the best way for you to find out is just to ask him.
Maybe he’s been burned a few times by women who strung him along for a while and then ditched him. It happens all the time in online dating; it’s happened to me. Maybe he just needs more time and more reassurance from you that you’re not going to ditch him the moment the grass looks a little greener on the other side of the fence.
I would feel extremely bothered if I was dating a guy who was active on a dating site. It would make me think that he’s trying to meet other people behind my back. Talking to him is the best way to deal with this.
he could just be bored but it’s very possible that he feels that he doesn’t have to be obligated to u quite yet. He is still single, technically
if he is on an online dating site it means he is keeping his options open and really isn’t committed to giving this relationship a real chance. I’m sorry, but if I were you, I would bolt
when i first saw this question, my first thought was that with online dating, ppl usually keep their options very open because there can be so many duds/creepy people involved and just because they hit ‘flirt’ doesn’t mean theyre committed. but then i read your question! lol
i would suggest that you ask your friend some questions before you confront the guy youre dating. active how? on certain sites, you can be considered active if you jst go online and delete your messages. you dont want to falsely accuse this guy and come off as a cyberstalker. then i would ask this guy what he thinks about your relationship and where its going. something nonconfrontational like, ‘gosh its great spending time with you and id love to stay friends but im wondering if theres something more or would you ahve any reasons not to?’ . see how that goes and then segue into the dating site. gl!
