I’m going to start dating for the first time ever and I need some help from other women?
I’m 35 and never played the dating game. I have had only one boyfriend (who became my husband, the father of my children and then dumped me for a few women at the same time – but I’m finally over that part – it took 3 years).
The part I need help with is after 20 years and only been with one guy, I need any tips dating men. I’m going out with a girlfriend for the first time to a bar this weekend…what do I do, how do I act?
I’m an outgoing person but not extroverted. I am naturally a nurturer and like making people feel at ease. I’m usually the person trying to make others feel welcomed by any group I belong to but now I’m on the other side and will be meeting new people.
Truth be known. I’m really worried, I’ll come across like a teenager or worse embarrass my friend.

Just be yourself. When you meet new men don’t think of them as "potential boyfriends" think of them as new friends-it will be easier to relax and be yourself. Don’t worry what others might think of you-just have a good time.

The best thing is to just be yourself, dont put on no airs and graces, just be you, if your a naturally warm person then that will rub off on those around you. Best of all though is to just go out and enjoy yourself, dont go thinking of relationships and who you might meat and wether they’ll like you, just let ya hair down.
be yourself. have fun .dont try too hard as this is a turn off. just have a lovely time if you see someone you like show interest by maintaining eye contact for a few mins and a smile. dont over do it though . good luck you go girl!
Dating, or blind dating is a dodgy experiance, best route is through work, friends and sometimes, just sometimes you might meet a fantastic someone in the shopping mall.
Dont be afraid to talk to someone, so many people out there are looking and hopeing to meet someone……

Just be yourself, if a guy says hi to you say hi back and smile, a killer smile goes a long way. Dont be easy either, act confident and most of all have a great time with ur girlfriends
If your going to the club with friends realize this one thing,Bars are not the best place to look for a potential mate,just go for the fun of it ,be yourself because if you start putting on aires you’ll be a fake.Go out with the group,don’t give anyone your PH # ,e-mail address and enjoy talking and laughing and leave with the group.Beware of the super cool guys and the lines,don’t look desperate,they pickup on that quickly.Lay back and keep your eyes and ears open at all times. Ask yourself why you want to start dating. Is it because you are lonely? Is it because you want children and are feeling the age thing? Is it because you feel you must have a man or be married to be fulfilled?
I am not trying to be nasty to you. There is not a thing wrong with those reasons as far as I am concerned. I just think if you knew the specific reasons you want to date, then you may better understand yourself or your approaches.
I would suggest being yourself, but with an emphasis on good manners. You would not want someone to fall for a "fake" you. You want to be liked for who you are. Have fun, have good conversations and be honest. Do not give too much information too early.
